To Mr Wales

My name is Christina Franzén.

I’m the managing director of Clothes AB in Stockholm Sweden.

Mr Wales, My mother started our family company in late 1997; she started in our garage with only herself and a sewing machine.

Now we are 16 people working in our two stores and the head office. Our Clothes collection has grown strong the last 2 years. People seem to like our choice of colours and fibre works. Our target groups are more or less men and women, but we focus mostly on females. Our style of clothing is based in what's hot now, this, we find out through research at the fashion weeks.

After one tough year with the world’s economic problem we are getting on our feet again.

On Clothes AB our plan is to expand, the market is getting stronger, and after some research we’ve found you’re company the most interesting.

I would like to set up a telephone meeting with you to tell you how we would like to cooperate with your company.

Telephonist- Good morning UK Fashion For You Ltd. This is Lisa speaking, how can I help you?

Christina F- Good morning, my name is Christina Franzén and I’m calling from Clothes AB in Stockholm Sweden.

I and Mr Wales have a telephone meeting booked now. So he is expecting my call.

Telephonist- Yeas off course, he told me. Please hold and I’ll put you through to his office. 

Mr Wales- Ted Wales Speaking.

Christina Franzén- Good morning Mr Wales, this is Christina Franzén from Clothes AB in Sweden. How are you?

Mr Wales- O yes, Mrs Christina, I’m good thank you, and you?

Christina Franzén- I’m very good, thank you for giving me this opportunity to explain more to you about what it is we want to do.

Mr Wales- Off course, I’m very interested to hear about it.

Christina Franzén- As I told you in my letter we now feel that it is time for us to expand. We have done our research and our conclusion is that UK is a very good and reliable country to begin in.

A colleague of mine told me about your company. He told me that you are looking after somebody to cooperate with.

Mr Wales- Yes that’s correct.  

Christina Franzén- so to the business, we at clothes AB want to start a collaboration where we open up one store to begin with. My view is that we share 50% each of everything. What do you think about that?

Mr Wales- I think you should come to the UK, and we will arrange everything here. I will also arrange a meeting for us with some landlords so we can get the best location for our business.

Christina Franzén- That sounds great!

Mr Wales- Good, I will call you back as soon it is fixed.
